Christmas Parade 5k

Celebrate the holiday season with the Christmas Parade 5K on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, in downtown Valdosta, Lowndes. Starting at 4:30 PM on North Patterson Street near Bennies Alley, this festive 5K race features an exciting out-and-back course that winds through scenic streets, turning around between Moore and High Streets. Perfect for runners of all levels, the event supports the VSU Cross Country teams and encourages participants to dress in their favorite holiday attire for extra fun. Early registration is just $20 until November 27th, with family discounts available. All runners will receive a stylish drawstring shoe bag, and awards will be given to the top 25 male and female finishers, alongside random prize giveaways.
