Breaking Down The Stigma Addiction And Mental Awareness 5k Sponsored By Newvista Behavioral Health
Join us for the 2nd Annual Breaking Down the Stigma Addiction and Mental Awareness 5K and 1 Mile Walk sponsored by Newvista Behavioral Health at Black River Landing in Lorain, Ohio on Sunday, August 31st, 2025. This impactful event commemorates lives lost to drug overdose while raising awareness and understanding of addiction and mental health. With a picturesque 5K run/walk and an untimed 1-mile walk, participants of all ages are invited to join this day of remembrance and community support. Registration opens at 8:00 AM, with the races starting at 9:00 AM and festivities continuing until noon. The chip-timed 5K registration is $30, $15 for kids 12 and under, inclusive of a race t-shirt, finisher ribbon, food voucher, and medals for top finishers.
