Big Beach Marathon, Half Marathon & Safari 5k

Experience the ultimate fitness and fun at the Big Beach Marathon, Half Marathon & Safari 5K in Gulf Shores, Alabama from January 24th to 28th, 2026. Run through the picturesque Gulf State Park on a scenic and flat course suitable for all levels of runners. The marathon and half marathon take place on Sunday, January 25th, starting and finishing beachside at The Hangout with stunning Gulf Shores beach views. Kickstart the weekend with the Safari 5K and Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, and challenge yourself with the Shark or Dolphin challenge combining the 5K with either the full or half marathon.
