Big Al’s 200

Taking place on the scenic Jones family farm on Big East Fork Rd, this unique race offers a twist to the familiar 2-mile loop format, promising a challenging yet rewarding experience with 55,000ft of elevation gain for the 200-milers and 27,000ft for the 100-milers. Runners will navigate through beautiful black slate springs and ridge lines, immersing themselves in the magical woods while being self-supported with aid stations offering breakfast, dinner, electrolytes, and more. With a generous 120-hour time limit for the 200-mile race (48 hours for the 100-mile option), participants can enjoy the mostly single track course and the flexibility to leave and return as needed, all while using GPS for distance tracking. Finishers will earn special buckles and jackets, making this a truly unforgettable event. Please note that there are no refunds or deferrals, as all proceeds go towards enhancing and maintaining the property for future events. Remember, no pets are allowed on the course, so get ready to challenge yourself and embrace the spirit of camaraderie in this epic race!
