Beast of the East 100

Welcome to the Beast of the East 100, a challenging trail running event set to take place in 2025 at Crowders Mountain. Participants will tackle the entire trail system, summiting both mountain peaks and enjoying picturesque views of the lake. With varying distances including the 100-mile, 100K, Marathon, Half Marathon, and a special 15-mile/25K race, there's something for every level of runner. The race features unique time cutoffs for each distance, from a 10-hour limit for the Marathon to a 34-hour limit for the 100 Mile event. Special medals and buckles await those who conquer the demanding courses, which offer significant elevation gains ranging from 2,326 feet for the Half Marathon to 17,925 feet for the 100 Mile race. Trekking poles are permitted, and pacers are allowed for the 100K and 100-mile distances after 50 miles. The event is also "TRAIL SISTERS Approved," encouraging more female participation on the trails. Aid stations will provide essential food options and hot meals, ensuring participants are fueled for the challenging routes.
