Join us for the Albert Rivera Menudo Run, a beloved community event happening on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, in scenic South El Monte, Los Angeles. Celebrating over four decades of togetherness, this thrilling run at Whittier Narrows "Legg Lake" Park welcomes participants of all levels for a day of excitement and camaraderie. Choose from a variety of distances including a competitive 5K and 10K, a Fun Run, and a Kiddy Run ensuring fun for the whole family. Medals await the top three male and female finishers in each age category for both the 5K and 10K races, and top teams in the team race will be honored with trophies. Following the races, indulge in a delicious bowl of menudo, complemented by a refreshing beer for those 21 and older (remember your ID!).
