62nd Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Races

Join the excitement at the 62nd Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Races on Saturday, December 27, 2025, set against the picturesque backdrop of Asbury Park, Monmouth County. This beloved event offers a choice between a scenic 5K run or walk and a lively 1-mile race, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Early registration is $35, with convenient bib and t-shirt pickup on December 26. Race day activities begin at 8:30 AM with final bib distribution, followed by the 1-mile race at 9:30 AM and the 5K at 10:00 AM. The 5K course features a beautiful route through Asbury Park’s charming streets, turning around at Bradley Beach and finishing at the iconic Convention Hall. The first 500 participants will receive commemorative t-shirts, and awards will be presented to top finishers across various categories. This year’s event proudly supports Interfaith Neighbors, a local charity dedicated to strengthening community health and food security.
