4 On The 4th!

Join us for the exciting 2nd annual "4 on the 4th!" event on Friday, July 4, 2025, in Avon, Dare, to kick off Independence Day in style with a scenic four-mile walk or run through Kinnakeet Shores on Hatteras Island. All ages are welcome, with a special 1776-foot dash for the little ones! Participants will receive eco-friendly goodies, including a cup and a stylish performance t-shirt, along with a finisher's medal and a delicious post-race breakfast. By joining the fun, you'll also be supporting local non-profits like Hatteras Island Meals, OBX Buddies, and Chicamacomico Life Saving Station.
