2nd Annual Shauna Smith Heroes 5k Trail Run / 2k Trail Walk
Join us for the 2nd Annual Shauna Smith Heroes 5K Trail Run and 2K Trail Walk in Holland, Ottawa on October 18th, 2025. Organized by Shields of Hope, this charity event aims to spread hope, love, and encouragement to those impacted by cancer in West Michigan. Honoring the memory of Shauna Smith and supporting Thoe Kok in their battle against brain cancer, participants of all ages are welcome to join this inspiring event. Public safety, EMS, and military personnel are encouraged to participate in full gear. Whether you choose to run the 5K or enjoy a leisurely walk in the 2K, this is a perfect opportunity to unite, pay tribute, and stand in solidarity with cancer warriors. Remember, NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE! Although the event is untimed, a clock will be available for those tracking their progress. Come together for a day filled with camaraderie and community spirit.
