11th Annual Fast & Furriest 5k/1m - April 19, 2026

This family-friendly event supports Operation Paws for Homes and raises awareness for dogs suffering from heartworm disease. Participants can enjoy a scenic, paved course while running or walking alongside their leashed furry companions, making it an ideal outing for dog lovers and fitness enthusiasts alike. The 5K race starts at 8:15 AM, followed by the 1-mile walk at 9:00 AM, with on-site registration available until 6:30 AM on race day. Children ages 0-10 can join for free, adding to the inclusive community spirit.
